Connect with a growing body of student leaders preparing to enter the disability field as service providers, teachers, nonprofit leaders, rehabilitation specialists and other professionals. Student Section members benefit from TASH’s 35 years of leadership on disability issues through direct access to leading experts in the field, TASH publications (Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities and TASH Connections), the TASH in Action bi-weekly newsletter and significantly reduced rates for conferences and training opportunities. Membership for students is only $45 for 12 months, and includes full membership benefits. Students must be completing coursework at least part-time.

Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities is the critically acclaimed research journal from TASH. RPSD is one of the most respected scientific publications in the disabilities field. It carries more articles on topics such as inclusion, facilitated communication, support living, self-advocacy and other issues of interest than any other publication available.
