2012 TASH Conference kicks off Local Host Committee on January 27

This year’s TASH Conference will take place November 28 – December 1 in Long Beach, Calif. With that comes a year’s worth of planning and organization to make the conference as successful and welcoming as possible. We’ve learned from many years of conference planning that our best conferences happen when we work closely with community members to infuse local and regional flavor into the overall conference.

If you’re located in California (even if you’re not close to Long Beach) and you’re interested in helping out, consider joining the 2012 Local Host Committee! Our kick-off meeting will take place January 27 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Westin Long Beach and will also be accessible by conference call.

Local host committee members do things like identify local and regional issues that are impacting California, share information about the conference with the community, plan social events that get conference-goers out into the city, recruit volunteers and support hospitality at the conference. To learn more, check out our informational flyer here.
