Call for Papers | TASH 40th Anniversary Book

Guest Post By: Martin Agran

As you may know, next year is TASH’s 40th Anniversary.  A book will be published to celebrate this important event, and will include memories and reflections by various individuals associated with TASH and the severe disabilities community (e.g., founders, researchers, federal representatives). The book will also include brief stories and personal narratives from parents, self-advocates, and TASH members. If you are interested in sharing a “TASH” memory with us (something funny or touching or life-changing)—for example, how TASH impacted your life or that of your child, a friend, or a student—you are cordially invited to submit such a testimonial. Such reflections need to be brief and should be from 1 to 2 paragraphs long. As we anticipate that we will receive a large number of papers, we cannot guarantee that all papers submitted will be accepted.  All of us involved with TASH have had our lives affected in some way by it and we hope you take advantage of this opportunity to share how it has affected your life. TASH has achieved so much in the last 40 years and it’s time now to celebrate and recognize its achievements. If you have any questions about this paper, please contact me (magran@uwyo.edu).

All papers need to be submitted by January 15, 2015.  Submit your testimonial here. Thank you.
