Exploring Inclusive Education at the TASH Conference!

For over 40 years, TASH has advocated for full membership, relationships, participation, and learning for all students with disabilities. We believe that true inclusion can be achieved within general education classrooms, in which students with disabilities have access to general education curriculum and learn alongside their same-aged peers without disabilities.

As always, the TASH Conference will place a major focus on inclusive education. The Conference will include a research colloquium, two half-day Wednesday Workshops, 20 poster presentations, over 50 breakout sessions, and more surrounding the topic of inclusive education.

Some featured hot topics include:

  • The IEP as a Living Document
  • Strategies for Successful Inclusive Education
  • Endrew F. Defines FAPE
  • iPad Usage and What’s Going on in Schools
  • Increasing Social Interaction Opportunities
  • Family Advocacy
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Curricular Accommodations & Modifications
  • Extracurricular Activities

With over 800 attendees, you’ll become part of a community at the TASH Conference — A community that shares, learns, and grows together, ultimately creating inclusive communities for all. This is a conference you won’t want to miss!
