This Conference is a MUST for Early Career Researchers

Are you launching your research career? Are you interested in networking with other researchers in your field? The 2015 TASH Conference provides the perfect opportunity for you to meet with nationally-recognized professors and researchers and become a part of TASH’s Early Career Researcher Network. At this year’s conference, there are three major events being held that are dedicated to early career researchers. Learn more below.

Wednesday Workshop
Doctoral Students and Beginning Special Education Faculty Wednesday Workshop
In this half-day workshop you will learn strategies from people who have successfully transited the stages where you are now. Learn about developing a professional identity, how to make your place as the sole special education faculty member, interfacing with other professionals, developing a research agenda, grant writing and making tenure, all in a context specific to severe disabilities.

Working Meeting
Early Career Researcher Network Working Meeting
In recognizing the unique challenges facing pre-tenure researchers, we are forming an Early Career Researcher Network focused on discovery of research collaboration and mentorship relationships. Join us to contribute to the charter, if you are interested in leadership roles or just want to learn more.

Networking Event

After a full day of events, unwind with fellow Early Career Researchers prior to the 40th Year Anniversary Celebration.  Meet colleagues and potential collaborators to further discuss the challenges and successes of starting out as a researcher in a casual setting.
