Lyle Romer will share his perspective on the factors most crucial to managing an agency that strives to embody the principles of person-centered planning and support.
As a result of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the difference between certainty / agreement and the measurement of outcomes in supported living.
- Define the different approaches needed to measure simple outcomes versus more complex and difficult to predict outcomes.
- Articulate the essence of the feedback loop crucial to good policy development and improved supports for people seeking support.

This presentation will help self advocates, family members, support providers, state agency personnel to understand the the role of person-centered planning in agencies and the evaluation process.
About the presenter
Lyle Romer has been working for 41 years to support people with disabilities to lead their lives and pursue their dreams by providing opportunities to become involved in their communities in ways which they create diverse connections with other citizens. He is the Executive Director of Total Living Concept.
