The YES! Center

YES! Center logoThe YES! Center is a national Training and Technical Assistance Center that serves as a central source of information, expertise and comprehensive support for the Partnerships in Employment (PIE) state projects. The YES! Center works closely with PIE states to develop customized plans for each state to ensure improved employment outcomes, working toward the goal to improve competitive, integrated employment outcomes for transition-aged youth and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

YES! CENTER PARTNER

TransCen, Inc. will partner with TASH on the development and administration of the Training and Technical Assistance (TA) aspect of the YES! Center. Training and TA are the central components of the YES Center. TransCen is responsible for assisting in the development of the training and TA content and monitoring how effectively the training program is implemented.

TransCen is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education and employment success of youth and young adults with disabilities. Its work is driven by the belief that employment and active community participation are attainable for all individuals, regardless of disability or other perceived barriers to employment.

TransCen is a preeminent leader in providing training and technical assistance (TA) in school to work transition initiatives, systems change in education and employment, and related research and dissemination. Additionally, TransCen provides transition and employment direct services for youth and young adults with disabilities and is a vocational rehabilitation (VR) vendor and partner in delivering employment services in three states.
