He is a rising senior at Towson University in Towson where he majors in political science and minors in geography. He has also volunteered at other nonprofits in Maryland devoted to creating programs for children, teens, and adults with disabilities such as Celebrate Ability in Potomac as well as the Montgomery College-Rockville Campus and Towson University chapters of Best Buddies. Jake plans a career in either environmental policy or disability rights policy. As he is very passionate about protecting the environment and protecting the rights of an individual with disabilities. He is excited to have been selected to intern at TASH and hopes to learn more about the extensive role of policy-making and advocacy in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Outside of work and studies; Jake loves hanging out with friends, writing poetry, traveling, going to concerts, watching the news, learning history and geography, environmental/climate research, long-distance running, and soccer.
