about our CHAPTERS

TASH Chapters drive a powerful and personal connection to issues that impact individuals with significant disabilities throughout the nation. By understanding the unique needs of their surroundings, TASH Chapters unite advocates, push for legislation and promote systems change at the local and state levels, applying TASH values to opportunities in communities, schools, jobs and programs. Each year, TASH Chapters hold conferences and other events, and weigh in on the issues that impact their communities.

All members of TASH are members of their local chapter, and receive discounts to trainings, conferences and events, and other educational material from the TASH online store. TASH membership also includes access to Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities (RPSD), a quarterly peer-reviewed journal as well as TASH’s practitioner quarterly journal, Inclusion Practices.

TASH encourages every member to play an active role in their chapter. To get involved in the issues impacting your community, click on the links below to learn more about your state chapter. To learn more about how chapters are organized and managed, consult the Chapter Resource Guide.
