Back in the day, TASH grew to become a vibrant agent of change in part due to the smart use of TASH conferences and newsletters to get the word out about critical issues, research and resources. TASH members helped grow the reach and influence of TASH through operating systems change, research and professional development grants. This is a great time to re-energize the inclusive education movement by learning from our past and re-instituting this practice!
If you’re applying for 84.325K grants (personnel prep), please consider TASH as a dissemination and professional development partner. Think of TASH for: a) user-friendly and convenient webinars for school personnel and parent audiences; b) themed issues of Connections that share relevant information and lessons learned from current and emerging leaders in the field; c) regular updates to a large, multi-sector audience via TASH in Action; d) tools and strategies sharing through TASH communications channels; e) conference presentations and attendance to extend classroom learning; and f) membership for students to connect with a body of knowledge, research and values for long-term professional growth.
