Job Description/Responsibilities:
Under direction of the Tift County Board of Health, plans, coordinates, manages, directs and evaluates operations of Diversified Enterprises of Tifton. Provides programmatic and administrative direction of the daily operations of integrated community based day services, supported employment and residential components including 5 group homes, 13 host homes and 5 specialized CLS teams. In addition, assures maintenance of accreditation through CQL (Council for Quality Leadership) and compliance with Georgia standards and Medicaid waiver regulations. Responsibilities include oversight of 150 staff, 13 contracts, 105 people supported in 11 counties and a $4+ million budget. The organization prides itself on implementing cutting edge/best practice to assure continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in social work, psychology, nursing, special education or other related field and four years of middle management experience in working with adults with intellectual disabilities. This experience should include programmatic responsibility, supervision of staff and budgetary responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
A masters degree in a related field and extensive experience in integrated community programming (day and residential) and in customized employment for adults with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Medicaid waiver rules and financial oversight is needed.
