Keynote Speakers Announced for 2012 TASH Conference

Each year, more than a thousand attendees come to the TASH Conference to re-connect and re-energize for another year of values-driven advocacy and work. We think this year’s phenomenal slate of speakers will provide the insight, inspiration, and excitement you need to get back to your community and make a difference!

An opening general session on inclusion is planned for Wednesday, November 28. This expert panel features Madeleine Will as moderator, along with Norman Kunc, Charlie Lakin, Barbara Ransom and Wayne Sailor as they address questions like: What have we accomplished in advancing inclusion? Why haven’t we done more? What can we do to ensure progress is made?

The closing general session on Friday, November 30, features Amy Brenneman, award-winning actress (Private Practice, Judging Amy and more!), advocate for children with disabilities, and parent, as she speaks about the importance of transitioning from segregated models of education towards innovative and fully inclusive schools where children with and without disabilities learn together.
