Mission
To inform and engage self-advocates (individuals with disabilities), family members and allies to further empower them to advocate for Medicaid policies and funding to protect and enhance the health and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We will engage self-advocates to gain a deeper understanding of how Medicaid impacts their lives, how cuts in funding have or may harm them, and to identify and share information, tools, resources they need to educate themselves, family members, direct support workers and caregivers, and ultimately policymakers.
