Call for Proposals Deadline Extended to May 31

We have extended the deadline to submit proposals to present at the TASH Conference. All proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. ET Tuesday, May 31, 2011

View more details on the Call for Proposals flyer or go directly to the submission site at https://tash.org/2011TASH/CFP

This year’s TASH Conference is already shaping up to be a great one. And because so many of you have expressed interest in presenting at the conference, we’ve decided to extend the deadline so everyone has an opportunity to prepare their proposal. If you would like to present at the 2011 TASH Conference in Atlanta please note the new deadline of Tuesday, May 31.  Also, if you know someone who would be a terrific presenter, share this news and encourage them to submit a proposal.

If you’ve already submitted your proposal – THANK YOU! You now have time to make last minute adjustments if you choose. Just make sure the proposal is in its final form by May 31.

A couple of important notes:

The submission site has a tendency to clog up if too many submissions are coming in at once. This may slow down the submission process considerably. For this reason, all proposals are requested as soon as possible to avoid this issue near the May 31 deadline.

Some people have had issues with the presentation template. When entering the 500-800 word proposal summary, the entry field does not always adjust to fit all content. If this happens to you – don’t worry! You can copy and paste your content into a different part of the document where space is available. This will not impact review of your proposal.

Here’s a heads up for everyone considering submitting a proposal. The following will be asked of you during the submission process, so be prepared to provide:

Proposal title (12 word limit)

Description of presentation (40-60 words)

Presentation topic and sub-topic

Presentation summary (500-800 words)

Presenter information for all presenters (names, affiliations, brief bios, e-mails and any A/V needs)

Although we ask presenters to use the online submission site, we can make accommodations in certain instances to receive proposals via fax or e-mail. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us at conference@tash.org or (202) 540-9015.
