TASH is a partner organization of the Stop Hurting Kids campaign to end restraint and seclusion abuse in schools. Over the past six weeks we’ve been advocating for the prevention of these practices by raising awareness and encouraging advocates to contact members of Congress to make their voice heard.
This week the campaign unveiled a new way for people to reach out to Congress using Twitter. You can now visit http://stophurtingkids.com/congress and send a message directly to your member of Congress. Here’s how it works:
1) Visit http://stophurtingkids.com/congress
2) Select the state in which you live or work.
3) Find your congressperson (organized by name/district)
4) Open clicking the “tweet” button you’ll send the following message of support:
If you’re a user of this social media network, please take a moment to contact Congress. If you aren’t already on Twitter, you can register for free at https://twitter.com.
