Principal, Special Education

Rockland BOCES is seeking a Principal for the Student Services Division.

Responsibilities:

• Experience working with students who have autism and developmental disabilities

• Expertise in working with multiple disciplines to support student achievement

• Skilled in implementing NYS Standards and alternative assessment

• Experience supervising teachers, professionals, and service providers preferred

• Ability to articulate and implement a vision which can be received by students, staff, parents and community

• Ability to work well as a member of an administrative leadership team

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Doctorate preferred

Start Date: July 1, 2014
