Spirituality in Inclusive Postsecondary Programs

This presentation will highlight the Joshua Project mentoring program at Lipscomb University, and how it has been used to promote spiritual growth in development with students who have ID or DD diagnoses in the Lipscomb IDEAL Program. Additionally, we will discuss the development of an IDEAL program chapel that is open to all students and focuses on faith and disability topics, while also providing a venue for IDEAL students to showcase their gifts.

Higher education; special education; inclusive postsecondary education
