St. John’s Community Services Seeks CFO and Marketing/Fundraising Manager

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – seeking individual to manage an array of strategic, oversight and hands-on roles including, development of organizational and financial strategy, leadership and management of the financial functions, policy and procedure development/oversight, training/technical assistance, and financial monitoring, analysis and reporting. Individual will work with the Controller and other members of the financial team, the senior management team, Board Treasurer and committee chairs. Minimum of 8 years’ progressive management experience in a complex (multi-service; multi-state) human services or related operation required. Also requires proven track record of success in managing complex financial management systems, particularly in not-for-profit settings including, but not limited to, reimbursement systems, government contracts, operational and capital budgets, specialized financing, internal controls, staff supervision and compliance. Requires MBA or CPA with Medicaid and/or managed care experience strongly preferred; background in healthcare or intellectual disabilities preferred. Marketing and Fundraising Manager: Individual responsible for the marketing, communications, public relations and fundraising activities of St. John’s Community Services.  Increases visibility and awareness of SJCS and disability matters among targeted audiences and the general community, effectively branding SJCS and promoting matters of interest to people living with disabilities. Develops and executes marketing plans and strategies that result in an increase in service utilization and referrals to SJCS’ programs in all states. Develops and executes communications plans and strategies that result in information and agency messages being conveyed effectively to target audiences furthering the relationships with those audiences. Effectively promotes SJCS events. Acts as counsel to St. John’s management to enhance relationships with St. John’s varied audiences, and to further the agency’s strategic marketing objectives. Generates private revenue through foundation proposals and individual giving.
