Job Summary: The Training Manager is primarily responsible for managing and implementing TASH’s hallmark event – the annual conference – as well as several regional conferences and trainings each year. The position is responsible for ensuring that all conference and training opportunities are accessible to professionals, family members and self advocates, and that all content is delivered in culturally competent, accessible and engaging formats. The TASH Conference and all trainings (including but not limited to the annual conference, regional conference(s), webinars, and general activities) are planned to be responsive to member needs and to promote TASH’s mission by providing leadership and direction on inclusive practices and human rights to the professionals, families, and support networks that impact the lives of people with significant disabilities, and to self advocates.
