Tomorrow, September 21, advocates and members of the disability community are showing up in large numbers on Capitol Hill. TASH is a co-sponsor of the event, My Medicaid Matters, which will highlight the important role Medicaid plays in the lives of people with disabilities, and the impact budget cuts may have on our community. Among other things, the rally the show that Medicaid provides:
– Vital home and community-based services that support life in the community;
– Services to support families in caring for children with significant disabilities;
– Jobs for direct care workers
