TASH’s Barb Trader Shares Perspective on Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

TASH’s Executive Director, Barb Trader, shares her perspective on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act trumpeted in Washington, DC on May 21, 2014.  She fears the new provisions to the bill aren’t substantial enough to truly make a change for students with disabilities and reflect TASH’s commitment to increasing the employment rate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and eliminating federally sanctioned sub-minimum wages.
