This is the first managed long-term services and supports program in the country that has been explicitly designed to promote Employment First and Community First for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Seeking a candidate with experience and passion for Employment First and advancing full community inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience with the provision of supported and customized employment, working in managed care and/or leading/managing disability-related systems or agency transformation is desirable. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop positive and constructive relationships with key external stakeholders, managed care organizations and service providers. Candidates with experience in developing or managing high quality, accountable service delivery systems or organizations are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing the Employment and Community First CHOICES program and associated contracts and grants, and for working alongside the Deputy Chief of LTSS and the Director of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) Programs and Services to set the vision and priorities for the program and shape policy and practice, and support ongoing system transformation efforts to align with person-centered practices and to support the achievement of employment and other quality of life outcomes for persons with I/DD served in the program.
