Job Description:
The College of Saint Rose invites applications and nominations for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Special Education in the Thelma P. Lally School of Education to start August 2018.

Responsibilities include 12 credits of undergraduate/graduate teaching per semester, engaging in scholarship and grant-writing, attending internal and external events applicable to the College and the candidate’s academic discipline, academic advising, program assessment, curriculum development, and participation in Department, School, and College committees.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Special Education with expertise in one or more of the following: curriculum and instruction in special education, literacy and/or research methods, and experience and the ability to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: assessment in special education, Response to Intervention in school settings, and/or experience in teaching mathematics, technology and/or other high need content areas. Minimum three years of full time experience teaching students in Pre-K through
grade 12 classrooms also required. Candidates must be able to teach in face-to-face and online environments.
