Welcome to the official website for the 2024 TASH Conference!
Each year, the TASH Conference brings together our constituents to share resources and success stories, learn about field-driven best practices, and network within a community engaged in shared values. The Conference is attended by passionate leaders, experts, and advocates from every corner of the disability community. Conference attendees are influential in their fields and communities, and play an important role in the provision of services and supports for individuals and organizations around the world; and include professors and researchers from leading institutions; those involved in local, state, and federal governments and public policy; special and general educators, and school administrators; self-advocates, adult service providers; students, family members, and many others. This year’s conference theme is Celebrate Together: Let the Good Times Roll!

Conference Location
This year’s Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 601 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70113. The nearest airport is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). NOTE: Ground transportation to/from the airport, and to/from other neighboring hotels is the attendee’s responsibility.
Call for Proposals
The Call for Proposals for the 2024 TASH Conference is open from Monday, March 4 through Friday, May 31, 2024. TASH offers two main kinds of proposals: Research and General:
- A Research Proposal is to present the results of research, participatory action research, or case study.
- A General Proposal is to present information consisting of a how-to or instructional talk; a program overview or description; a personal experience, story or point of view; or a structured discussion.
Additionally you can submit a Research Colloquium proposal. The Research Colloquium is scheduled with the Day One Intensives and consists of a four hour session where a panel of researchers discuss a specific research topic.
