Opening General Session

TASH Executive Director Michael Brogioli opens the Conference at the Friday General Session and introduces keynote speaker, Carol A. Beatty, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Disabilities, who spoke on “Advancing Opportunity for All: The Maryland Experience!”

Closing General Session

Dr. Anjali Forber-Pratt, the Director of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), addresses the Saturday General Session on the topic of “Disability Inclusivity and Representation in Research”.

The TASH Conference is also important as one of two times per year when the TASH Board of Directors meets in-person and also as the occasion when the newly elected Board members attend their first meeting. This year the Board added Brandon Gruber, Sheldon Schwitek and Magen Rooney-Kron, PhD. Deborah Taub was reelected to a second term.
